Egerton University had invited bidders for the below mentioned tender via tender notice dated 3^rd March, 2021 on the Public Procurement Information Portal www.tenders.go.ke and on the University website www.egerton.ac.ke.

EU/ONT/12/2020-2021: Supply and Delivery of Foam Mattresses.

That a bidder sought clarification as to whether the sample should be brought by the winning
bidder or by all participants during the bidding process

Clarification

Kindly refer to Technical Evaluation section 2B: Product evaluation;

• That interested suppliers are required to provide a mattress sample as per the specification in the Technical Evaluation Stage.
• The sample must be submitted on or before the tender opening date and time and shall be clearly marked and recorded during the tender opening i.e 19^th March, 2021 at 11.00 a.m.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
