I participated in the research conducted on behalf of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Centre of Excellence in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (ICEP/CVE) to gather information to develop a youth and civil society engagement strategy to combat violent extremism, thereby strengthening CSOs and youth networks at the national and regional level. Completed successfuly
In the 2015/2016 financial year, HELB granted me a research award for a project titled Determinants of Youth Participation in Socioeconomic Development in Homa Bay County, Kenya. Funds returned because another funding round on the same idea was secured.
