SUMMARY

Dr. Duke Oeba holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Science with a specialization in Physics and Mathematics from Egerton University Kenya, a Master’s Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation with a specialization in Photovoltaic Solar Cells from Kenyatta University, Kenya, and Ph.D. Degree in Physics specializing in Solid State Electronics from the University of South Africa, South Africa. Dr. Oeba has over 5 years of experience in teaching, research, and community service. Apart from being a renewable energy enthusiast, Dr. Oeba is also a global peace and climate change enthusiast. Currently, Dr. Oeba is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Physics at Egerton University. His research interest include applying nanotechnology to produce cheap, safe, green, and renewable energy.

Dr. Oeba has published several scholarly articles and a book chapter in the International Peer-reviewed Journal in his areas of specialization. He has also presented at international conferences and has received several awards. Dr. Oeba’s philosophy is ’Life is an echo. What you send out comes back. What you sow, you reap. What you give, you get, and what you see in others exists in you.’
