Mr. Simon Kibet Kibitok is a qualified Dairy and Food Science Technologist. Being a specialist capable of contributing to research and development of quality milk and food products hence rendering articulated services and products of nutritional impact on humans.

  1. 18th June 2013: Technologist 11 (Grade 7) Dept. Dairy and Food Science and Technology, Egerton University; Teaching Diploma and Undergraduates;  Dairy pilot Plant; Member of Food Safety Team in the Plant.  
  2. January 2013: A member of ISO 22000: 2005 Food Safety Team, Egerton University; to prepare documentation and  Implement ISO 22000: 2005 Food Safety Management System, and  prepare its Re-Certification in GDI Pilot Plant at the Department of Dairy and Food science and technology. This is in addition to the Previous Duties.
  3. October 2008: A member of ISO 22000: 2005 Food Safety Team, Egerton University; Department of Dairy and Food science and technology: to develop and Implement Food Safety Management system (FSMS) in Guildford Dairy Institute (GDI) Dairy plant, and prepare for its Certification. This is in addition to the Previous Duties.
  4. Oct 2010: Dairy Plant Technician/Operator (Grade A/B), Dept. Dairy and Food Science and Technology, Egerton University; In-Charge of quality assurance in the  Dairy Plant; Teaching Practical courses to Diploma and Undergraduates.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, distributing and quality checking of all dairy products from Iringa Factory and making sure all the products have been sold.
  • Ensuring the company’s daily sales target is met
  • Ensuring all sales routes is well co-ordinated.
  • Writing the daily sales and marketing report.
  • Identifying, recording and reporting product quality in the market.
  • Troubleshooting and carrying our preventive quality assurance of dairy products.
  • Monitoring hygiene and product quality both after delivery from ( Iringa) and in the market shelf’s (Dares Salaam).
  • Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 22000 of ASAS Dairy Products.

 

   7. August 2004- Sept. 2005 LOGOIYAT FARM SUPERVISOR( SUGOI FARM)

         Responsibilities:

  •  Ensuring good health o0f Animals also liaise with veterinary doctor and AI services whenever possible.
  •  Planting and fonder management – grass, silage and dairy meal
  •  Keeping of daily milk and sales record.
  •  Reporting to the Director  Hon. W. S. Rutto

    8. 2002- August 2004KIPSING'ORI ESTATE FARM MANAGER (MOI'S BRIDGE)

         Responsibilities:

  •  Ensuring good health o0f Animals also liaise with veterinary doctor and AI services whenever possible.
  •  Planting and fonder management – grass, silage and dairy meal
  •  Keeping of daily milk and sales record.
  •  Reporting to the Director Ret. Gen. Cheruiyot

      9. 1999- Dec. 2002:  GRADE III SUPERVISOR NANDI TEA FACTORY

         Responsibilities:

  •     Planting of tea seedling
  •     Grading of  plucked tea leaves
  •     Measuring temperature and fermentation control after cutting.
  •    Taking samples of final roaster tea for quality control.
  •    Reporting to the Factory manger Mr. Rotich

  1. Establishing a goat ranch producing more than 1000liters of goats milk.
  2. processing the produced milk into milk and milk products hence uplifting Human health and income to goat farmers thus eradicating poverty in the society.
