SUMMARY

An Associate Profesor  with an earned PhD in Food Science with specialization in Dairy Science and Technology. Have vast experience in teaching and research and contributed immensely in promoting Dairy Industry Nationally and Regionally as a Lead Technical Person in the EAC Milk and Milk Product Standards formulation Technical Committee. Concerning administrative responsibilities and duties in the University, have gone through most of the ranks starting from Departmental Examination and Timetabling Officer, Food Safety Team Leader, ISO Standards Coordinator, and Chairman of Department. In supporting staff welfare, have served as the Chairman of the Egerton University SACCO LTD Board of Management. Full commitment and diligent to the respective assignments have earned some merit awards and prizes. In particular, as ISO Coordinator oversaw two recertification cycles for both ISO 9001:2008 QMS and ISO 22000:2005 FSMS.
